Ironworks Hills

Ironworks Hills

If you’re in Winchester or passing through eastern Kentucky, Ironworks Hills is absolutely worth your time. The 18-hole layout balances open bombers and tighter technical shots across rolling hills and mixed terrain. Its concrete tees, directional signage, and scenic routing help it stand out — it averages 4.4/5 stars in the UDisc community.

What I love most: it’s a course that rewards all types of players. Intermediate throwers can push for low scores on the longer, open shots, while accuracy and finesse matter on the denser wooded holes. Yes, you’ll run into muddy sections after rain and a few tight fairways that demand precision. But for a well-maintained, fun, free course with good challenge and variety, Ironworks Hills should be on your must-play list.
