If you're chasing a disc golf course that really lets you air it out, Graviss McDonald’s at Falling Springs is a standout you can’t skip. With 18 concrete-pad holes spanning over 8,700 ft (from the pro tees) and a “Moderate / Hard” rating, it leans heavily toward power and precision. Much of the layout is in open, rolling fields with only occasional trees or wooded edges, so if you consistently throw 350+ ft, you’ll find it rewarding.
The course is beautifully maintained — wide, mowed fairways, crisp tee pads, and thoughtful routing through terrain that often feels like the Kentucky countryside. But don’t expect much shade: during hot, sunny days the openness can make for a brutal round. Also, some players note that shot variety is limited — it’s mostly bomber lines rather than tight, technical tunnels. But if you’re in the mood to test your distance game in a scenic, well-kept setting, Falling Springs delivers.
